When is VBS?
K-5 VBS with GEV
Monday, June 16 - Thursday, June 20
9:00am - 3:00pm each day
Preschool VBS
Sunday, June 23
1:00-4:00pm
Who can sign up for VBS?
Youth currently in grades K-5 can register for the day camp with GEV. Registration is first available to CLC members and those active in our congregation. Please ask Pastor Nissa if you have a question about a friend or neighbor attending.
Preschoolers currently age 3-5 (not in Kinder) may register for the preschool day. An adult is asked to attend with the child(ren).
How much does it cost?
The church council has generously voted to cover the costs of VBS this summer! Partnering with GEV costs the church over $75 per student. So while families will not be asked to pay, we do ask them to realize the cost, and be dedicated to participate as fully as possible!
Students will need a packed lunch each day for day camp with GEV

The details:
When:
Friday, July 12th
· Leaving Chatfield ~7am, returning ~7pm
· Includes an option to stay overnight at a waterpark hotel
Where:
Service sites in the Twin Cities, such as Feed My Starving Children, The Drawer, Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners, People Serving People
Who can go:
· Kids must be ages 5 and up, and accompanied by an adult.
· Adults of any age are invited!
· Open to Chatfield Lutheran, Root Prairie Lutheran, and any friends or family who want to come along!
How much does it cost?:
· $20pp or $50 max per family. This covers lunch and a small donation to each organization we volunteer with.
· Payment is requested by June 1st.
Potential schedule:
· Leave Chatfield around 7am
· Arrive at Feed My Starving Children in Eagan for a 9:30-11:15am shift
· Lunch, conversation, play, relax
· Go to second service site, serve a few hours
· Have a time of worship/reflection at a nearby church
· Begin drive home around 5pm
